Business Central Practice Lead - $165k - Remote (EST)

If you are one of the rare BC professionals who has a blend of project management and presales experience, then you may be interested in a role we are recruiting for on behalf of one of my top Microsoft Partner customers.

Our client is looking for someone to lead their Microsoft Dynamics Business Central practice, acting as a "Face of the Franchise" and Project Manager for ongoing and new client implementations.

Your New Company:

  • Microsoft Partner with an industry focused solution that has dominated a specific manufacturing sector in the Dynamics market

  • Well-established organization that has been in business for over 40 years

  • The team is steadily growing, having added new consultants and developers over the past 3 years

  • Low turnover organization, with numerous staff members having over a decade in the business

Your New Role:

  • Oversee their Microsoft Dynamics ERP practice

  • Lead presales efforts and work closely with customers in architecting solutions to meet their needs

  • Oversee an implementation team ensuring best practices and efficient customer delivery

  • Responsible for hiring, training, and onboarding new team members during periods of growth

  • Attend industry specific conferences for networking and gaining traction within the BC community

  • Coordinate between development team and consulting group members on hitting deadlines for Business Central implementations

What You'll Need:

  • Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation experience is a must

  • Strong people leadership skills and team management experience

  • Strong project management skills (e.g. planning, forecasting, scheduling)

  • PMP certification is a plus, but not required

  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills and executive presence

  • Strong customer focus skillset

  • Ability to operate in primary customer-facing role; pre-sales experience strongly preferred

  • Manufacturing industry background preferred

  • Ability to travel as needed (less than 25%)
