Role: Privacy Resource
Location: Newport Beach, CA OR Remote
Duration: Contract
Compensation: $38-$42/hour
Work Requirements: , Holders or Authorized to Work in US

Responsibilities

• Assist with performing scoping exercise to incorporate Brazil Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to in-scope vendor agreement, which include the following tasks:
  1. create a tracker of potential in-scope vendor agreements (the "Tracker )
  2. gather the business owner contact for each vendor in the Tracker
  3. contact the business owners with a list of provided scoping questions to assess if Brazil personal data is in scope
  4. gather the vendor contact information for agreements determined to be in-scope
  5. contact the business owner to request their response to the scoping questions
  6. initiate a new case with the CST vendor
  7. create a case with CST Vendor Contracts team, and contact vendors of in-scope agreements to request an amendment to incorporate the Brazil SCCs
  8. use tracker to track status of amendments
• Assist with other Privacy and/or Legal Operations tasks as may be assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum two-three years of working experience in an asset management company, law firm, management consultancy, multinational operating company
• General working knowledge of data privacy laws is an advantage but not required
• Experience in the asset management or financial services industry preferred

Desired Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Technical proficiency with using Microsoft Excel and Word programs
• Prior experience in external/internal audit or compliance
• Legal or privacy knowledge is a plus
