Job Overview:
We are seeking a Licensed Electrician/Technician to assist with electrical system installations and conversions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely converting regular AC (Alternating Current) power to low-voltage DC (Direct Current) power, specifically within the 110V 24V range, for lighting control and sensing applications. This position involves installing and setting up 24V lighting systems, motion sensors, and automated lighting controls, following all applicable safety codes and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, low-voltage controls, and hands-on experience with AC-to-DC conversions.
Experience Requirements:
- Must have a valid Florida Electrical License (ER or EC)
- Experience with AC-to-DC (110 24V) systems
- Experience installing and configuring low-voltage lighting and sensor control systems
- Ability to follow and comply with Florida safety codes and regulations
Experience Preferences:
- Prior experience in lighting automation, smart lighting, or control systems
- Familiarity with electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, or kneel during installations
- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments
- Ability to climb ladders or access elevated electrical systems
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally
- Ability to travel to job sites with valid driver's license and reliable transportation
