    Job Description

    Ledgent Technology is seeking a Web Developer to join a DevOps team that aids in the innovation and creation of functional and secure websites.

    This is a direct hire, remote opportunity.

    What you will be doing:
    • Regular exposure to business stakeholders and executive management, as well as the authority and scope to apply your expertise to many interesting technical problems.
    • Collaborate with team members from start to finish on website development projects.
    • Coordinate with various departments across the organization as needed.
    • Maintain websites and create updates regularly to address company, customer, and security concerns.
    • Troubleshoot code quickly and efficiently.
    • Actively participate in brainstorming sessions with team members.
    • Willingness to seek ways to improve existing websites and processes for the betterment of our company and customers.
    What you should bring to the table:
    • Complex web development and implementation experience working in a professional, Corporate environment required
    • Elixir / Phoenix (or similar such as Ruby, Scala, Erlang without Elixir, Java, etc.) production experience is required
    • Experience with REST APIs. Seasoned knowledge and hands-on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.) is needed to be successful in this position.
    • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
    • Experience working with and collaborating using development tools such as Gitea/Git and Jira
    • Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
    • Experience working in Google Cloud Platform is a plus
    • Experience working with front ends written with react.js using GraphQL (React experience is a requirement. GraphQL is a plus)
    • Deep expertise and hands on experience with web applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and API's.
