Network Architect
Location: Baltimore, MD (Hybrid)
Experience: 12+ Years
Mandatory Skills: Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE), AWS Networking, WLAN & WLAN

Required Education and Experience: A bachelor s degree in information systems/computer science (or related field) with 12 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 10 years, or 7 years with a PhD.
Certification: Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE) with specialization in Routing & Switching, wireless, security, or data center, or equivalent certification.
Networking Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in networking engineering for large enterprise networks with over 3,000 network nodes.
AWS Experience: 3 years of experience working with AWS network connectivity for large enterprises.
Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Position of Public Trust clearance; U.S. Citizenship is required.
Hybrid Role: The position is hybrid, requiring the employee to be located in MD for occasional office work.
WLAN and Network Design: Responsibilities include surveying network requirements, leading WLAN rollouts, and upgrading network equipment to meet standards.
NAC and VPN Management: Oversee the design, operation, and maintenance of Network Admission Control (NAC) systems for WLAN and VPN access.
Project Management: Responsible for managing field installation contractors, coordinating equipment delivery, and ensuring timely deployment of network solutions.
Technical Support & Documentation: Provide third-level support for troubleshooting, contribute to network documentation, and continuously seek opportunities to enhance network performance and reliability.
