Maxonic maintains a close and long-term relationship with our direct client. In support of their needs, we are looking for a Warehouse Support Engineer

 

Job Description:

 

Job Title: Warehouse Support Engineer

Job Type: Contract (6 - 8 weeks)

Job Location: Des Plaines, IL

Work Schedule: Onsite 5 days a week with some weekends

Rate: $45, Based on experience, Open to C2C candidates as well.

 

We are exploring the possibility of onboarding a contractor for warehouse support. Chicago warehouse would need someone who has familiarity with Zebra scanners and printers, has worked in warehouse settings, Dell PCs, basic network troubleshooting skills, and is available to start soon.

   

They need to be able to work some weekends.

 

Only Windows support is needed, we don't need anything with Macs for this location.

 

Zebra scanners are modified android devices for scanning and printing bar code. Specifically Zebra has their own drivers for laser, thermal, and label printing / scanning.

Some tasks this person could do is following the manual to make sure the Zebra devices are connected to the network. Following manual to install the correct drivers. Knowing how to reset a device by following the guide. Other basic troubleshooting.

 

If you can't find people who support Zebra brand scanners and printers then any mass produced scanner and printer brand is ok as a second choice. These are not regular printers, these are the mobile ones they can use to print things like barcodes.

 

They mentioned Intune as well for device management. They should have windows support experience.

 

They need to be able to start immediately once background check clears.
 

They should have good communication skills and be able to work independently with minimal instructions. They should be able to talk clearly and in a courteous manner when providing support.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for Zebra Scanners, Zebra Printers, All in One Dell PCs
  • Device management with Intune
  • Troubleshoot devices and driver and network issues

Qualifications:

  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Basic network troubleshooting skills
  • Intune (plus)
  • Windows support experience
