WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

• Manage a team of data engineers that build data products and power machine learning and business analytics efforts
• Work hand-in-hand with a variety of stakeholders from functional groups across the organization to create end-to-end solutions.
• Responsible for Managing, Coaching and Mentoring team of data engineers to build data pipelines and data warehousing solutions
• Build scalable systems, lead technical discussions, participate in code reviews and guide the team in engineering best practices.
• Define and Manage priorities to the team by working with business stakeholders.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

• 3+ years of experience in managing data engineers
• 8+ years of total experience in software development
• A technical leader who can guide and coach team of data engineers
• Experience with Scala or Java (preferred)
• Experience with one of the major cloud providers (AWS preferred)
• Experience with one of the major data warehousing solutions (Redshift preferred)
