Job Description from customer:

We are looking for a seasoned Enterprise Architect who will lead the design, documentation and governance of our enterprise-architecture (EA) landscape through the LeanIX platform. This person will work at the intersection of business strategy and IT delivery: aligning business capabilities, application portfolios, technology stack, and data flows; enabling our transformation roadmap; and ensuring our architecture is managed and communicated in LeanIX.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the assessment and documentation of the application, data, technology, and business-capability landscapes using LeanIX

Drive application portfolio discovery and rationalization: identify duplications, technical debt, obsolete technology, migration opportunities.

Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand portfolio, processes, dependencies, and technical components; use that insight to shape architecture roadmaps.

Develop as-is and to-be architecture views, roadmap transitions, define target state architectures and migration plans.

Ensure architecture governance: set and enforce architecture principles, standards, frameworks; review and approve designs for alignment with enterprise architecture strategy.

Lead workshops, training and onboarding for architecture teams and stakeholders to use LeanIX and to adopt architecture governance processes.

Monitor and improve data and metadata quality in the EA tool: ensure that portfolios, dependencies, lifecycles etc are accurately captured.

Work closely with change programs, transformation initiatives to make sure architecture implications are well-understood, managed and aligned to the target state.

Report to senior leadership on architecture health, portfolio metrics, risk exposures, technical debt, rationalisation progress and value delivered.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree a plus.

7+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, application portfolio management or related roles.

Hands-on experience with LeanIX (or similar EA/portfolio management tool such as Alfabet, Mega, ADOIT) including building and maintaining architecture artefacts, dashboards, reports.

Strong understanding of application lifecycles, metadata management, dependency mapping, business-IT alignment.

Excellent stakeholder management & communication skills: able to interface with business, IT, architects, senior leadership.

Analytical mindset: ability to dissect complex landscapes, identify opportunities for simplification, rationalisation, risk mitigation.

Governance mindset: capable of establishing architecture principles, standards and ensuring compliance.

Preferred (nice to have): experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Platform)

Familiarity with architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) is a bonus.
