About the Role
As WM Synergy continues to scale, we re looking for a IT Operations Manager Remote Workforce & Systems to own the systems, infrastructure, and tools that keep our global services organization connected and productive. You ll play a critical role in supporting a workforce of 200+ remote team members across the U.S., Canada, and India maintaining uptime, security, and seamless collaboration across all business units.
This is a hands-on role that blends IT operations, systems administration, and process automation. You ll partner closely with our leadership, shared services, and business unit teams to standardize platforms, harden security, and modernize how WM Synergy operates internally.
What You ll Own
  • Oversee and administer the corporate IT infrastructure including laptops, endpoints, cloud systems (Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams), and SaaS tools.
  • Manage onboarding/offboarding for all employees and contractors globally, ensuring smooth access provisioning and deprovisioning.
  • Maintain asset management, license tracking, and renewal schedules for all IT equipment and subscriptions.
  • Partner with HR and Finance to improve internal controls, data protection, and process automation.
  • Administer and optimize corporate security policies, including MFA, data encryption, and compliance monitoring.
  • Lead the Helpdesk escalation process, working with our Service Desk and Systems teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Implement proactive monitoring, patch management, and endpoint protection measures.
  • Support corporate network infrastructure, VPN access, and remote connectivity for global teams.
  • Own IT documentation and training content for internal staff ensuring policies, guides, and processes are up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with the CSO organization on technology modernization initiatives, including AI and workflow automation pilots.
Who You Are
  • Proven experience supporting a remote services organization of 200+ users across multiple geographies.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint), Azure AD, Intune, and general endpoint management.
  • Hands-on experience with device management, cloud security, and SaaS integrations.
  • Comfortable balancing structure and flexibility you can document processes but also troubleshoot in real-time.
  • Highly organized, responsive, and focused on consistency, uptime, and user satisfaction.
  • Excellent communicator who can translate technical issues into clear, actionable updates for non-technical teams.
  • Bonus: experience with Zoho, Power BI, or ITSM systems like Zoho Desk or ServiceNow.
  • 3 5 years of progressive IT administration experience; certifications such as MCSA, Azure Administrator, or CompTIA+ a plus.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
You ll be measured on outcomes such as:
  • System uptime and response times (SLA compliance)
  • Time-to-resolve internal IT requests and onboarding/offboarding speed
  • Security compliance metrics (patch completion, MFA adoption, audit readiness)
  • Employee satisfaction and feedback on IT support
  • Successful rollout of IT modernization initiatives and automations
  • Quality and completeness of IT asset and license documentation
