The Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join their Office of Information Technology team. This role plays a crucial part in protecting DHS s IT systems and data through advanced security operations, vulnerability scanning, incident response, and compliance efforts.

What You ll Do:

  • Monitor and manage tools like Tenable, CrowdStrike, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and DLP

  • Lead threat detection, vulnerability assessments, and incident response

  • Oversee CrowdStrike alert triage, threat hunting, and endpoint protection

  • Administer and secure both Windows and Linux environments

  • Conduct audits, compliance checks, and risk assessments

  • Collaborate across departments to ensure InfoSec alignment with business and regulatory needs

  • Support NIST 800-53 / CMS MARS-E frameworks

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation (POA&Ms, incident response plans, metrics, etc.)


Required Skills:

  • 3+ years in information security or assurance

  • 2+ years with system admin (Windows/Linux), Tenable, NIST 800-53, and compliance frameworks

  • 2+ years experience in cloud security environments

  • Demonstrated experience with Fed/State InfoSec regulations and auditing processes

  • Active CISSP or CISA certification (REQUIRED must upload copy)
