- Work with internal teams to understand product and documentation requirements thoroughly
- Produce top-notch documentation that meets standards and targets the intended audiences effectively
- Analyze existing and potential content to identify opportunities for reuse and single-sourcing
- Create and maintain a well-structured information architecture
What you will need to have:
- Minimum of 5 years of Technical Writer experience, specifically in software documentation
- Proficiency in writing clear and accurate content in U.S. English
- Quick comprehension of technical concepts to translate them into easily understandable text and graphics
- Experience with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, SnagIt, and other documentation tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and translate directives into deliverables
- Basic knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software development processes
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Communications, Professional Writing, English, Journalism, or Computer Science; or equivalent experience
What would be great to have:
- Over 10 years of technical writing experience
- Background in the financial services or banking industry
