    Test Engineer (Electrical / Mechanical)
    Direct Hire
    Utah County, Utah
    Pay Target $70k - $95k depending on experience

    Job Description:
    Needing someone with a good deal of background experience in designing and developing manufacturing testing for complex power systems.
    The candidate should have experience in designing and developing electrical test systems and programs for manufacturing environment with relatively high-power electronics on the order of 30KW - 180KW power range (DC) and three phase 208 and 480VAC - 3Phase power.

    Someone with background in solar inverters, industrial power systems, motor drives and control systems or even electrical vehicles would be ideal.
    Since this role is new, you will also be developing both manual and automation testing environments from initial stages through final component products. Their production is still being vetted out so the production line volume is low, however that will rapidly increase over the next few months once they have systems and process in place and testing procedures.

    Required Skills
    • 3+ years hardware test and validation engineering experience in a product manufacturing environment
    • Experience designing and developing manufacturing testing for complex power systems using tools such as LabView.
    • 30KW - 180KW power range systems (DC)
    • Three phase - 208V and 480V AC power
    • Exp developing test environment and test cases in manufacturing
    • Experience tracking down and testing to "root cause" and resolving issues
    • ISO standards for mechanical / electrical manufacturing environments

    Bonus / Soft Skills:
    College degree is preferred, not required
    Previous experience creating reporting on quality processes for exec leadership on their production (if you don't have this, you will learn it and be doing it)
