Location: Remote
Duration: Long Term Contract

Looking for Systems Engineer/Devops Engineer with Data and Google Cloud Platform. Data Engineer Resume Will not work.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Google Cloud Platform System Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services and a strong background in data engineering and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage data pipelines using Google Cloud Composer, Airflow, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Terraform and Jenkins.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and architects to optimize workflows and ensure scalability.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Google Cloud Platform services and pipelines to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Maintain documentation and best practices for cloud infrastructure and data workflows.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
  • Strong knowledge of Airflow, Composer, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
  • Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  • Background in data engineering and pipeline development.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Google Cloud Platform certifications (e.g., Professional Data Engineer, Cloud Architect).
  • Experience working in remote teams and agile environments.
