Title: Google Cloud Platform System Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: Long Term Contract
Looking for Systems Engineer/Devops Engineer with Data and Google Cloud Platform. Data Engineer Resume Will not work.
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Google Cloud Platform System Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services and a strong background in data engineering and infrastructure automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage data pipelines using Google Cloud Composer, Airflow, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Terraform and Jenkins.
- Collaborate with data engineers and architects to optimize workflows and ensure scalability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Google Cloud Platform services and pipelines to ensure high availability and performance.
- Maintain documentation and best practices for cloud infrastructure and data workflows.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
- Strong knowledge of Airflow, Composer, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Background in data engineering and pipeline development.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Google Cloud Platform certifications (e.g., Professional Data Engineer, Cloud Architect).
- Experience working in remote teams and agile environments.
