Job Description
Client is seeking highly qualified candidates to join our Ethernet Customer Solutions team in the Ethernet Product Group enabling and supporting wired ethernet products for customers world-wide.
Primary duties and responsibilities of this role would be assembly, tracking, provisioning, and testing Servers, Desktop, and NUC systems for Lab usage.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills in addition to the qualifications below:
Strong attention to detail - disciplined approach to organizing and tracking inventory throughout its lifecycle
Proven written communication skills with teammates, peers, and supervisors/managers
Self-motivated and eager to learn
Some knowledge of Linux commands. Application porting/development/debugging (e.g. Linux GTK apps framework) with Engineering guidance. Device driver porting/ development/debugging. Embedded system programming/debugging. Firmware knowledge is a plus.
Ability to Iearn quickly, perform tasks with moderate supervision, and have strong debug skills. Good communication skills and the ability to work within a diverse team.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
High School/equivalent and 3+ years work experience -OR- Associates of Science (AS) w/1+ years of work experience
Experience in building, upgrading, and debugging server and client platforms.
Experience with Excel Spreadsheet and multiple Web-based tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting wired ethernet products - preferably with Client Ethernet products.
Experience with Active Directory Administration
Experience with Data Center Storage management (iSCSI)
Experience with Network Administration
CCNA certification
Experience with SAN, iSCSI, and NAS devices
Experience with virtualization
MCP or MCSE certification
Extreme Networks Associate Certification (ENA)
