Senior Python Full Stack Consultant

Location: New York City NYC

Duration: 6 months with possible extension

Immediate Interview

The client is looking for a strong Python Full-Stack Engineer who can work onsite in NYC and build data-driven, AI-powered applications end-to-end. The role involves Python/Django for backend, Angular for frontend, and working with AWS, Snowflake, and modern data tools. Basically, they want someone who can handle both coding and data engineering in a cloud environment.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, preferably as a full-stack developer.
  • Strong background in building data-heavy applications using Python, Kubernetes, and both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
  • Experience working with modern UI frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
  • 3+ years of hands-on backend development using Python and Django, building scalable, containerized APIs.
  • Skilled in API development, Docker/Kubernetes deployments, and writing unit/integration tests for reliability.
  • Strong data engineering experience, including:
  • Relational databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL
  • Data warehouses: Snowflake
  • Data transformation tools: dbt (data build tool)
  • NoSQL databases: MongoDB, DynamoDB
  • Solid understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and modern data architecture.
