Job Details
Role: Procurement Administrator
Duration: 6-12+ Months
Location: Austin, TX (Remote)
Seeking an experienced Procurement Administrator who will manage and optimize our SAP Ariba procurement system. This role will have a deep understanding of procurement processes and hands-on experience with Ariba solutions to support our company's procurement activities while maintaining compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Administration: Configure Ariba procurement modules to align with business requirements and ensure accurate setup of procurement processes.
- Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure compliance with company policies, and industry standards and promote best practices in procurement processes.
- Reporting and Analysis: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into procurement performance and system usage.
- Training and Support: Provide user training on Ariba functionalities and procurement best practices. Action level 1 support tickets to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues. Create process documentation as required.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.
Experience, Skills, and Mindset:
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in Ariba procurement system administration, configuration, and support.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP Ariba Procurement, Guided Buying, Catalog management and Business Network functions. Knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0 ERP and SAP MDG is preferred but not required.
- Foundational knowledge of Procurement and Supplier Management processes.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and work independently and as part of a team.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Prior experience working in the Technology or Manufacturing industry.
- Ariba Procurement Certification is preferred but not required.
