Seeking a Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst to play a key role in ensuring the network infrastructure, systems, and operations meet state, federal, and industry cybersecurity compliance requirements. This individual will conduct compliance assessments, support risk management activities, and work with stakeholders to ensure alignment with security frameworks, policies, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, assess, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local cybersecurity standards, including CJIS (Criminal Justice Information Services) and other relevant frameworks.
- Perform security and compliance assessments across WAN/LAN infrastructure, data centers, and ~70 remote judicial sites.
- Develop and maintain compliance documentation, policies, and procedures in alignment with state and federal guidelines.
- Assist in audits, security reviews, and certification activities.
- Collaborate with network engineering teams to ensure secure implementation of Cisco networking solutions (routers, switches, wireless, firewalls, VPNs).
- Identify and assess security risks, recommend remediation actions, and track closure of findings.
- Provide guidance on secure configuration, patch management, and access control best practices.
- Support incident response and ensure compliance with breach notification laws and judicial reporting requirements.
- Deliver compliance training and awareness to technical staff and judicial stakeholders.

The initial contract is for 6 months with the potential to extend based on job performance and business needs. The selected Network Architect will be required to work 100% onsite Monday to Friday at the client-------s facility in East Hartford, CT.

 

 

- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years focused on compliance and risk management.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (NIST, CJIS, CIS Controls, ISO 27001).
- Experience supporting compliance in networked, multi-site environments with Cisco infrastructure.
- Understanding of WAN/LAN, wireless, VPN, and cloud connectivity security principles.
- Familiarity with government or judicial branch IT compliance requirements.
- Strong skills in audit preparation, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent
- Experience with public sector or law enforcement IT compliance.
- Knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations impacting government entities.
- Bachelor-------s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field.
