Description
We are looking for an SAP FI/CO Business Analyst to support finance and controlling initiatives for a long-term contract opportunity in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to evaluate processes, define functional needs, and help deliver effective SAP solutions in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate brings strong business analysis skills, hands-on SAP FI/CO knowledge, and experience supporting S/4 environments while contributing to structured, agile project delivery.
Responsibilities:
Partner with finance, operations, and customer-facing teams to gather business needs and translate them into clear SAP FI/CO functional specifications.
Assess current workflows, identify process gaps, and recommend practical improvements that align system capabilities with business objectives.
Support SAP FI/CO enhancements and upgrade-related activities, including requirement clarification, solution validation, and user readiness efforts.
Create and maintain detailed business documentation such as process maps, requirement records, test scenarios, and review materials.
Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with project teams to prioritize work, refine scope, and track progress across deliverables.
Work with stakeholders to review documents, validate requirements, and ensure solutions meet operational and compliance expectations.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to assist with issue analysis, functional testing, and implementation support within SAP S/4 environments.
Requirements
Hands-on experience as a Business Analyst supporting SAP FI/CO initiatives.
Required experience working with SAP S/4 environments.
Strong background in business analysis, including requirements gathering, documentation, and gap analysis.
Familiarity with Agile Scrum methods and experience working within iterative delivery teams.
Ability to review business and functional documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience collaborating with customer service or call center-related business groups is preferred.
SAP certifications and prior involvement in SAP upgrade projects are considered an advantage.
