Ansible for Networking Senior Consultant

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Raleigh, NC that is seeking an Ansible for Networking Senior Consultant for a 6 month remote contract role (PST hours preferred).

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant with deep expertise in Ansible for Networking and Puppet to support automation initiatives for network infrastructure. This role is ideal for a self-driven professional who thrives in a remote environment and can collaborate across distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and implement Ansible playbooks for network automation
* Integrate Ansible with Puppet to streamline configuration management and deployment
* Collaborate with network engineers and DevOps teams to identify automation opportunities
* Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation scripts and workflows
* Document processes, configurations, and best practices

REQUIREMENTS:
* Certifications such as Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation or equivalent
* Proven experience with Ansible for Networking (e.g., automating Cisco, Juniper, Arista devices)
* Strong hands-on experience with Puppet in enterprise environments
* Solid understanding of network protocols, infrastructure, and configuration management
* Ability to work independently and align with PST hours
* Excellent communication and documentation skills
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices
* Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
* Expertise in Ansible and Puppet

Preferred Qualifications:
* Certifications such as Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation or equivalent
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices
* Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
