Responsibilities

Junior Systems Engineer

Location:Jessup, MD, within the heart of our Cyber Mission Business Unit

Engagement: Full-time commitment with a significant impact-requiring 1,880 hours of dedicated service annually, directly at the forefront of operations at the customer's site.

We are currently seeking a motivated Junior Systems Engineer to become an integral part of our esteemed team, contributing to one of the most pivotal Engineering contracts across the entire Intelligence Community.

As a vital member of our team, you will immerse yourself in the dynamic world of data flow and routing solutions (DFRS), where your support will not just be valued-it will be instrumental. Your mission will encompass a range of critical tasks from enhancing customer service excellence to strategically organizing and improving data flow implementations. You will be the linchpin in our modernization efforts, ensuring that the intricate needs of our clients are not just met, but aligned with broader strategic imperatives.

Spearhead the development of innovative solutions in data flow paths, setting new standards for efficiency and effectiveness.
Play a pivotal role in organizing and enhancing data flow implementations, contributing directly to our mission of continuous improvement and modernization.

Qualifications

Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline. Note: a High School Diploma or GED plus 5 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:

Experience in the Data tagging, data formats, data sanitization, data sharing rules/criteria, general dataflow knowledge.
Ability to work constructively and successfully with diverse stakeholders to resolve mission and technical issues is critical.
A self-starter, have a high level of attention to detail, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
