SAP GP/LE Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and architecture of Logistics Execution (SAP LE) solutions. Along with the design and implementation of solutions including integration with government systems such as PIEE GFP Module, Wide Area Workflow and UID registries
  • Analyse business requirements, map them to SAP capabilities, and create comprehensive functional and technical solution designs.
  • Develop scalable, sustainable architecture in compliance with industry best practices and business objectives.

Implementation & Optimization

  • Drive end-to-end SAP Government Property and Logistics Executions implementations, including configuration, integration, and testing.
  • Optimize existing SAP GP and LE modules to improve efficiency, accuracy, and performance.
  • Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules (SD, MM, EWM, etc.), SAP GTS and external systems.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to deliver robust solutions.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to SAP project teams and consultants.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) in global trade and logistics processes, staying updated on industry trends and innovations. Provide guidance on DFAR compliance with regulatory requirements for government property management, WAWF submissions of receiving reports and DD250 Acceptance

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure solution meets DFAR requirements for government contract, such as management of government furnished property, DD250 acceptance.
  • Ensure solutions comply with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and organizational governance policies.
  • Monitor and mitigate risks related to trade compliance, government property and logistics execution processes.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in information systems, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:

  • 12-15+ years of hands-on SAP experience, with a focus on GP (Government Property) and LE (Logistics Execution).
  • 5+ years' experience in Aerospace and Defense industries or US Government contracting
  • Proven track record of successful SAP implementations and optimizations in global trade and logistics.
  • Experience with government regulated industries and providing SAP solutions which are compliant with government contracting FARs and DFARS
  • Experience delivering SAP solutions which integrate with Government systems such as PIEE integration including integrations
  • Experience implementing standard government shipping and receiving report forms such as DD1149, DD138, and DD250

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in SAP, LE-SHP (Shipping), LE-TRA (Transportation), LE-WM (Warehouse Management), Extended Warehouse Management and other LE functionalities as well as asset management.
  • Expertise in SAP S/4HANA and integration with external systems.
  • Strong understanding of international trade regulations and logistics processes
