Job Description:
Client is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with over 10 years of hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of Java technologies, microservices architecture, cloud platforms, and modern development best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure Java applications.
Lead end-to-end software development lifecycle activities including requirements analysis, architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
Build and optimize RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and provide technical leadership.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production and development environments.
Develop integration solutions with third-party systems and internal services.
Optimize database queries and collaborate on schema design for high-performance applications.
Ensure application performance, reliability, and security.
Contribute to architectural decisions and technology roadmap planning.
Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Java development.
Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8 or above), OOP concepts, collections, and multithreading.
Extensive experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security).
Deep understanding of microservices architecture and related patterns.
Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, SOAP.
Strong knowledge of JPA/Hibernate and relational database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
Experience working with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra (optional).
Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes.
Excellent understanding of design patterns, clean architecture, and best coding practices.
Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
Strong problem-solving skills, debugging capabilities, and performance tuning expertise.
