    Job Description

    Solidus is searching for a Business Analyst who will provide business analytics, data analysis and visualization, oversee small-scale projects and process improvement initiatives within the Talent Management team. This role is a member of the Talent Management team, reporting to the HR Operations Manager.

    Requirements
    • ship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 3-5 years' experience in business/data analytics required

    Remote: Hybrid - Onsite 2 days/week and remote 3 days/week

    Required Experience
    • Project administration and coordination experience utilizing proven project and process management skills, tools, and framework
    • Strong analytical skills demonstrated by eliciting complete and accurate requirements
    • Strong results-orientation, teamwork, communication, and interpersonal
    • Meeting management and facilitation skills
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills for presentations
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high quality deliverables
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to work in a highly matrixed environment and manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines
    • Strong PC skills (i.e., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Smartsheet, MS Teams)

    Additionally Desired
    • Experience with Human Resources Data
    • 3-5 years' experience in project management/process improvement
    • Experience working in human resources within a healthcare or academic environment

    Responsibilities include but not limited to

    Business Analysis
    • Analyzes data for trends and impacts (to the department, project, or organization).
    • Transforms data to tell the story through data visualization and presentation development, and when applicable the actionable next steps.
    • Supports Talent Management team in sourcing best practice research (Gartner, SHRM, etc.) and drafting major findings documents.
    • Tableau, Smartsheet, PeopleSoft
    • Assists in development of standard reports/dashboards and metrics, in conjunction with data analytics operating procedures and guidelines.
    • Analyzes engagement survey results.
    • Works closely with internal HR Analytics Team for workforce-related reporting assistance.

    Project Management
    • Project planning activities for small to mid-size HR projects.
    • Project management support to project leads and developing project plans.
    • Manages deliverables and project execution activities.
    • Develops clear and effective meeting materials, presentations, and project documentation.
    • Identifies and mitigates potential risks and issues.
    • Ensures transfer of knowledge and responsibilities to owning operational areas prior to close-out of projects.

    Process Improvement
    • Supports the development of process maps/workflows to improve efficiencies of HR processes.
    • Maintains and updates process-related documents using Visio.
