Overview

Credence Management Solutions is currently seeking a BMC Helix Developer to join our Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) team. All candidates must be willing to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment. Candidates must have strong communications skills and the ability to bring fresh, creative ideas to the applications under development.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, scale, integrate, test and deliver Helix-based solutions that will be used by hundreds of BEP users to aid in IT request submission, intake, prioritization and execution.
  • Work in an agile, DevSecOps environment to deliver working software to meet User Stories acceptance criteria in 2-week sprints
  • Continuous improvement of the software development process.
  • Collaborate in the DevSecOps environment using BMC Remedy products, dashboards, Jira and Confluence.
  • Properly align to configuration management practices and technical guidelines and standards.
  • Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage and work processes, investigating problem areas, and following the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
  • Implement DevSecOps practices such as Infrastructure as Code, continuous integration and automated deployment.
  • Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code meets requirements.
  • Practice Infrastructure as Code best practices.


Qualifications

  • ship required and ability to obtain BEP Public Trust.
  • Bachelor of Science in one of the following subject areas: Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (equivalent experience will be considered).
  • Experience commensurate with position requirements (Senior must be able to lead and direct, Junior must be able to implement with guidance) for integrating and developing software systems.
  • Familiarity with BMC Helix, Helix Innovation Studio, Developer Studio (PWA), ITSM integrations and/or similar development tools.
  • Experience with emerging technologies such as AI and machine learning.
  • Experience with development integrations with leading DevOps tools such as Jira and Confluence.
