Position Overview:
As an IT Engineer you will play a vital role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. This multifaceted position encompasses responsibilities related to security, network management, and systems administration. You will collaborate with a talented team of professionals and contribute to the mission of providing exceptional broadcasting services and support for our community.
Key Responsibilities:
Security Engineer:
- Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to protect the organization's digital assets, including data, networks, and systems.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
- Manage and monitor security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches, ensuring rapid resolution and appropriate documentation.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging threats to continuously improve security measures.
Network Engineer:
- Design, configure, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues, working to optimize network efficiency.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to manage network-related contracts and agreements.
- Implement and enforce network security policies, including access controls and firewall rules.
- Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions to meet the station's evolving needs.
Systems Engineer:
- Administer and maintain servers, workstations, and other IT systems, both on-premises and in the cloud.
- Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions to safeguard data and ensure business continuity.
- Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Manage software installations, updates, and patches, ensuring system reliability and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute technology projects and initiatives.
