Position Overview:

As an IT Engineer you will play a vital role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. This multifaceted position encompasses responsibilities related to security, network management, and systems administration. You will collaborate with a talented team of professionals and contribute to the mission of providing exceptional broadcasting services and support for our community.

Key Responsibilities:

Security Engineer:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to protect the organization's digital assets, including data, networks, and systems.
  2. Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
  3. Manage and monitor security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
  4. Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches, ensuring rapid resolution and appropriate documentation.
  5. Stay current with industry best practices and emerging threats to continuously improve security measures.

Network Engineer:

  1. Design, configure, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
  2. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues, working to optimize network efficiency.
  3. Collaborate with vendors and service providers to manage network-related contracts and agreements.
  4. Implement and enforce network security policies, including access controls and firewall rules.
  5. Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions to meet the station's evolving needs.

Systems Engineer:

  1. Administer and maintain servers, workstations, and other IT systems, both on-premises and in the cloud.
  2. Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions to safeguard data and ensure business continuity.
  3. Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  4. Manage software installations, updates, and patches, ensuring system reliability and security.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute technology projects and initiatives.
