RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a well-established and innovative medical device company, is looking to hire a Senior Hardware Design/Firmware Engineer in Marlborough, Massachusetts (MA).

Summary:
In this key role, the Senior Hardware Design/Firmware Engineer will design and develop electronic hardware and embedded software for innovative medical devices used globally.
Responsibilities include complex electronic circuit and PCB designs for new products, and development of embedded systems software for innovative new features. This position applies technical expertise towards software and systems solutions of complex technical problems and provides solutions that require the use of ingenuity and creativity. The Senior Hardware Design/Firmware Engineer will join a talented and collaborative team of engineers building products that improve people's lives globally.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred
* 7+ years of experience with digital or analog circuit design
* Proficiency in PCB design
* Experience with firmware and embedded software development
* C/C++ programming skills
* Knowledge of Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) hardware or related technology
* Knowledge of Verilog or related technology
* Medical device industry experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
