    The Role:

    Collaboration Services are seeking applicants for the role of Collaboration Engineer. You will be part of an existing team of talented engineers and will lead initiatives designed to grow the adoption of Microsoft Collaboration products such as SharePoint Online, Viva Connections, and OneDrive. You will work with engineers, technology partners, and clients to drive a comprehensive user experience that generates business value and adheres to industry best practices. You will be highly motivated, proactive, and possesses excellent communication and presentation skills.

    Responsibilities:
    • As part of a core team, lead our O365 engineering efforts and deliver the next generation of Collaboration solutions
    • Participate in assessing and evaluating new and existing solutions, seeking opportunities for consolidation and/or integration with a focus on security and compliance
    • Leverage SharePoint Online to deliver a rich and seamless end user experience, drive enterprise level process automation, and ensuring constant alignment with leading industry best practices
    • Work with internal technology groups to provide consultation on refactoring solutions, along with guidance on Microsoft best practices for elements such as API integration and PowerShell.
    • Partner with Microsoft on strategic private previews, presenting your recommendations on new features and controls.
    • Maintain architecture documentation, runbooks, playbooks and training material, and further defining use cases as our products evolve.
    • Subject matter expert in at least one of the tools/technologies used in the space.
    • Participates in or leads initiatives to analyze infrastructure problems to be solved with advanced design.
    • Utilizes standard procedures and policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
    • Participates in or leads initiatives to analyze infrastructure problems to be solved with advanced design.
    • Utilizes standard procedures and policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
    • Manages the processes for ensuring that all systems/applications/software/hardware are compliant with Corporate policy/procedures.
    • Monitors project plans and budgets.
    • Contributes to developing and monitoring the organization's technology architecture and future technology vision.
    • Develops reports in conjunction with the Fellow Architect which demonstrate business opportunities and road map strategies that add business value.
    • Drafts proposals on infrastructure architecture needs for M&A activity, and supports the creation of executive summaries.
    • Consults and advises application development groups on solution architecture design. Monitoring implementation: recommending solutions based on BNYM and industry best practices.
    • Acts as the lead for major incident resolution.
    • Drives strategy to increase automation across the organization.
    • Contributes to the achievement of team objectives

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred
    • 8-10 years of related experience required
    • 5+ years advanced experience with Office 365, with a focus on SharePoint Online modern experience.
    • 5+ years experience with Graph API, Powershell, and scripting.
    • Strong knowledge of M365 Identity and Access Management including external/guest sharing.
    • Experience in the securities or financial services industry preferred.

    Preferred :
    • Experience with classification labels at site, library, and file level .
    • Hands on experience using Power Platform
    • General understanding of Splunk and O365 monitoring
    • Experience with additional M365 solutions such as Microsoft Loop, Lists, MS Forms
    • SharePoint Server 2019
