Job Description

Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Salary: $70.00 USD Hourly - $80.00 USD Hourly
Description: Title: DevSecOps Engineer

Work Location: Colorado Springs

Clearance: "Secret Clearance"

Education: Bachelor of Science in the Computer Science field, or equivalent experience (i.e. EE, CIS, CPE, MIS, IT).

Technical skills:

  • - Experience with Linux or Windows System Administration
  • - Scripting skills in languages such as bash or PowerShell
  • - Experience with automation Preferred Qualifications:
  • - Knowledge of DevSecOps principles
  • - Experience with Ansible Automation Platform, including Ansible Tower
  • - Experience with HashiCorp Packer and Vault
  • - Experience with Gitlab CI/CD
  • - Experience with Nexus
  • - Experience in virtualization technology, including, but not limited to, VMware
  • - Understanding of HP server configuration -
  • CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) DoD 8 570.01-M IAT Level II Certification"

Experience required :

  • Must be an effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools.
  • Must be responsible to work independently / solo at times on large projects, at other times will be in a collaborative team environment with other DevSecOps engineers, as well as other program development and deployment teams.


Position responsibilities: "The selected candidate will support the DevSecOps team to develop and deploy Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service capability.

The candidate will assist in the system administration of multiple environments, software deployment, troubleshooting, and automation in a DevSecOps environment for a critical customer program.

  • We are working with the leading DevOps practices and tooling (Hashicorp Tools, Gitlab CI/CD, Ansible Tower and Nexus Pro).
  • - Work on systems administration related issues with hardware and software for different network environments.
  • - Support deployment of custom software solutions integrating COTS, GOTS, and developed software.
  • - Propose system administration process improvement to reduce overall maintenance requirements by working with the design team and manufacturers.
  • - Determines systems requirements, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system configuration.
  • - Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies.
  • - Develops and recommends corrective actions.
  • - May provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers. "
