Job Summary

The Manager, Data Quality is a data governance focused role that is responsible for defining, maturing, and overseeing the enterprise data quality program within the Data & AI Governance function. . This role will develop and implement a data quality framework to include standards, requirements and controls ensuring alignment with policy, regulatory and enterprise governance requirements.

This Manager, Data Quality will provide direction, oversight and guidance to ensure data quality is systematically managed across domains, programs and initiatives. This role will establish partnerships with business, technology, analytics, risk and compliance stakeholders to embed data requirements into enterprise processes and solutions.

This role will focus on shaping our enterprise data quality strategy to foster a culture of data excellence through the organization. As part of the data quality strategy, this includes defining success metrics and overseeing tooling capabilities and reporting program maturity, risk and outcomes to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years in data quality, data management, governance, or analytics.

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Experience implementing data quality frameworks, standards and controls (e.g DAMADMBOK aligned practices)

  • Experience with working with data quality metrics, scorecards and monitoring approaches

  • Experience working with data quality, metadata and governance tooling

  • Strong analytical, audit, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent training and communication abilities.

  • Ability to drive continuous improvement and support compliance initiatives.

  • Experience with data profiling, cleansing, and remediation.

  • Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a enterprise data quality framework including standards, processes and control requirements.

  • Establish data quality dimension, rules, thresholds and control objectives aligned to business and regulatory needs

  • Ensure alignment of data quality practices with broader Data & AI Governance and control frameworks

  • Lead the enterprise Data Quality program, including roadmap, maturity model and continuous improvement strategy

  • Work with key programs and initiatives to provide data quality governance oversight to ensure Data Quality requirements are embedded from the start.

  • Define a enterprise Data Quality scorecard framework

  • Define Data Quality program health measurements and reporting requirements

  • Partner with tooling and architecture teams to align capabilities with enterprise data platforms

  • Define Data Quality requirements for tool consistency

  • Provide guidance to domain teams, programs, and product owners on integrating Data Quality requirements into solution design

  • Partner with Data Stewards, Data Owners, and technology teams to promote accountability and adoption of Data Quality standards

  • Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Audit to ensure Data Quality controls are measurable and defensible

  • Establish governance forums and operating rhythms to monitor and improve Data Quality practices

  • Promote a culture of Data Quality accountability and continuous improvement
