Job Description

Role: PowerBI Designer
Location: NYC, NY/Jersey City, NJ/Durham, NC/Westlake, TX/Boston, MA/Merrimack, NH(Hybrid, 3 days onsite/Month)
Duration: 12+ Months
Minimum pay rate starts from:$58/hr
W2 Only

Must Haves:

  • Expertise in analyzing, planning, designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting data warehouse models using Power BI
  • Technical expertise so you can guide, train and mentor the team's adoption of Power BI.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Extensive experience using Power BI to build and publish customized interactive reports
  • Proven expertise in analyzing, planning, designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting data warehouse models using Power BI
  • Proven experience performing complex data analysis using SQL, Oracle, Snowflake databases, and Excel
  • In depth knowledge advanced data visualization concepts, data model development, and performance optimization integrating multiple data sources
  • Strong visual design skills with an understanding of composition, balance, symmetry, and white space.
  • An understanding of user-centered design and web usability standards
  • Digital portfolio or examples of prior work and/or accomplishments are required
  • Experience providing training on data visualization tools (primarily Power BI) and championing adoption
  • Experience using JIRA to write stories and track work, participate in scrum events such as sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review and sprint retro
  • Ability to adapt well to change in direction and priority in a fast-paced environment
