Role: AI/ML Engineer

Location: NY/NJ (Hybrid)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Manager Note: Experience in Capital Markets is a Big Plus.

Overview:

• We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer with hands-on expertise in developing agentic AI systems autonomous or semi-autonomous agents capable of perceiving, deciding, and acting to achieve user-defined goals.
• The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in machine learning, software engineering, and large language model (LLM) based agent frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph, and experience delivering production-grade AI solutions.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design and implement agentic AI systems that autonomously plan and execute tasks to achieve defined goals, with a focus on Python-based code generation.
• Develop and deploy LLM-based agents using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, HuggingFace Transformers, and custom runtimes.
• Integrate AI agents with external APIs and services to enable orchestration across enterprise workflows and data systems.
• Build and maintain end-to-end pipelines for model training, testing, and deployment in production environments (e.g., Azure ML, Databricks).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalability, trustworthiness, and robustness of deployed AI systems.

Technical Skills Required:

• Programming: Python, SQL, PySpark.
• Frameworks & Tools: LangChain, LangGraph, HuggingFace Transformers, OpenAI API, Databricks.
• Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform (preferred)
• ML/AI Techniques: Reinforcement Learning, Multimodal Models, NLP, Vector Databases (FAISS, Pinecone), RAG Pipelines.
• DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow.
• Agentic AI Exposure.
• Understanding of agentic AI, where autonomous software entities perceive, decide, and act toward achieving goals.
• Experience building multi-agent systems, enabling emergent behaviors and coordination between agents.
• Familiarity with AI safety, interpretability, and trustworthiness concepts in production-grade systems.
• Exposure to real-world use cases such as:
• Generating Python code from business rules.
• Automating data workflows.
• Generating reports and decision-support systems.
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and tool-using agents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 10 years of experience in AI/ML, including at least 2 years working on agentic AI or autonomous systems.
• Proven experience deploying production-grade AI solutions and integrating with enterprise data platforms.
