Who we’re looking for
We are looking for a passionate and highly motivated Devops Engineer for a Fortune 100 client. This is a long term role in Plano, TX.
What you bring
High level skillset : Shell Scripting, Groovy, Jenkins, Java Backend – Spring boot.
- Overall 8+ years’ experience working on Java, DevOps Engineer , extensive experience working on Jenkins for continuous integration, End to End automation for all build and deployments.
- Ability to Build deployment, Build Scripts, and automated solutions ( using scripting language such as shell, Groovy, etc)
- Expert in deploying code through web application servers.
- Managed environments in Dev, QA, UAT PROD for various releases and designed instances strategies.
- Solid Understanding of Linux and experience in debugging scripts in windows PowerShell.
- Hands on experience of J2EE Framework and its component as related to java build, test, deployment, and release management initiatives.
- Experience using API’s , swagger , etc.
- Experience in software build tools like Maven, Ant, Pom.xml and build.xml.
What you will do
- Core development experience using Groovy Scripting.
- Utilize tools like Git, Terraform, Groovy, Jenkins, Coverity.
- Participate in release cycle of the product, install, and configure Jenkins for CI Automation tool.
Develop devOps scripts in Groovy to automate the CI CD process, for setting up LDAP configuration, etc.
