Location & Contract Details

  • Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid onsite 2 days per week)
  • Contract: Long-term (1+ year with potential extension)

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be local to the Austin, TX area and able to work onsite two days per week.
  • Must be able to work on a W2 basis only (no C2C, 1099, or third-party vendors).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Level Description

A Software Engineer 3 is an experienced technical professional with 8+ years of experience, capable of planning and accomplishing goals with minimal guidance. This role requires independent execution of complex tasks and may involve leading or directing the work of others. A high degree of creativity, initiative, and professional judgment is expected.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Automate, and Azure, along with strong knowledge of front-end technologies and web protocols. This position involves working in a fast-paced Agile environment (Kanban/Scrum) and requires strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain RPA solutions for enterprise applications.
  • Collaborate with users, analysts, and stakeholders to understand automation requirements.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize automated processes and bots.
  • Create, modify, and validate system specifications, standards, and programming workflows.
  • Investigate problem areas and recommend system enhancements.
  • Manage RPA infrastructure and assist with Azure-related troubleshooting.
  • Develop and consume RESTful web services and validate HTTP responses.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous process improvement.
  • Produce documentation, design artifacts, and operational support materials.

Minimum Requirements (Skills & Experience)

  • At least 8 years of hands-on RPA development experience, including a minimum of 4 years specifically working with Blue Prism.
  • 8 years of experience with web development technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, DOM, and HTTP protocol.
  • 8 years of experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • 8 years of experience developing and consuming RESTful web services.
  • 4 years of preferred experience in API development.
  • 4 years of preferred experience in process discovery, requirements gathering, and solution architecture.
  • 4 years of preferred experience with programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
  • 3 years of preferred experience working with Azure infrastructure, including troubleshooting.
  • 3 years of preferred experience working in an Agile (Kanban/Scrum) environment.
  • 1 year of preferred experience with Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Preferred certifications include Blue Prism Certification and Microsoft Power Platform Developer Certification.
  • Preferred experience supporting Health and Human Services (HHS) or the Office of Inspector General (OIG).
