Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Azure DBA & DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and optimizing jobs, resources, datastores, as well as designing and implementing DevOps practices using Azure technologies. This role requires expertise in Azure, SQL, Python, and Spark.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Database Administration:
    • Manage and maintain SQL Server databases, Azure Data Lake Storage, SFTP Blob Storage in Azure environments.
    • Ensure database availability, security, costs, and performance.
    • Monitor and optimize performance and capacity.
    • Implement and manage automated tasks using T-SQL and other tools.
    • Develop and execute database migration strategies between Azure and on-premises environments.
  • DevOps Engineering:
    • Design and implement DevOps processes and practices.
    • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
    • Implement source control strategies and manage repositories.
    • Develop and maintain build and release pipelines.
    • Ensure security and compliance in DevOps practices.
    • Implement monitoring and instrumentation strategies for applications and datastores.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with data engineers, solution architects, developers, and data scientists.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of applications and databases.
