We are currently seeking an Automation Engineer I with experience in administering, configuring and supporting enterprise applications for 500+ users.
Local candidates to Palm Beach County will be given top priority and remote candidates will be considered.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Automation Engineer I supports the development, performance, and maintenance of our platform, helping ensure it remains available, scalable, and secure. This role works closely with more senior engineers and other teams to execute tasks and gain hands-on experience across the platform's lifecycle.

Additionally, they are required to undergo specific FedRAMP training to ensure compliance with all associated controls and responsibilities in the day-to-day performance of their duties. Individuals working in departments that are considered to be in the high-risk category will be required to undergo advanced training based on their role and level of access. Individuals with access to modify data and the configuration baseline will require further training.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assists with the design, development, and troubleshooting of platform solutions.
- Supports CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and containerized environments.
- Provides technical support to cross-functional teams for day-to-day operations.
- Participates in ongoing learning to grow technical skills within the organization.
Essential Duties:
- Assist in building and maintaining Ansible playbooks and automated deployment processes.
- Develop scripts to automate tasks and integrate with other systems.
- Collaborate with Azure DevOps and QA teams to ensure platform operations align with architecture and implementation goals.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and provide first-level troubleshooting for availability issues.
- Work with containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift and AWS ECS
- Support cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) by performing routine monitoring and reporting tasks.
- Participate in automating tasks to improve Infrastructure as Code deployment, service availability and operational efficiency.
- Help maintain custom-built tools and integrations used by internal teams.
- Assist solution engineers with platform modernization initiatives and enterprise applications integrations and automations.
Other Duties:
- Participate in the team's on-call rotation to respond to incidents and support platform operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Required:
- 3+ years of experience administering, configuring and supporting Enterprise applications for more than 500 users.
- Strong Ansible experience, including custom role and library development, solid understanding of data structures, complex conditionals, loops, jinja2 templating, handlers, advanced error handling, debugging, Ansible Automation Platform and AWX.
- Basic understanding of containerization tools such as AWS ECS and OpenShift.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or other platforms).
- Experience developing API to API integrations.
- 3+ years of experience with Windows and Linux server administration.
- 3+ years of experience with DNS
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn from others.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of web development technologies.
- Strong programming knowledge using Python, Powershell or similar.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API
- 2+ years of experience with ERP, HRIS, JIRA, ServiceNow, Confluencelet
