We are seeking an Implementation Engineer to join our team. This is a fully remote opportunity based out of the United States with traveling required up to 75%.
Job Summary
The Implementation Engineer is responsible for post-sales work with the company's customers and business partners within US in the planning and execution of software implementations. This role implements projects and applies technical and project management skills to directly contribute to the company's product implementations and be a key contributor in the development and evolution of the company's deployment methodology. Extensive domestic travel is required approximately 75% of the time.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide technical environment assessment and a detailed solution output for team members to execute on.
- Own the customer implementation lifecycle from customers based on execution of assigned project tasks including installing Client products, testing, and managing the project through end user deployment.
- Contribute to the creation & maintenance of project and process related 'best practice' methodologies, training and documentation.
- Act as a solutions expert in the product line and understand how we integrate with various technologies (Citrix, VDI, AutoIT, MDM s.etc).
- Assist with maintaining a repository of current Client product solutions and offerings that will be used by the PMO to efficiently lead projects.
- Assist with training for internal technical initiatives. This includes development of Technical Collateral, Field Workshops, and best practices development as defined by Technical Manager to drive standardization and repeatable processes.
- Assist with advanced level training to both customers and channel partners on Client s products.
- Extensive domestic and occasional international travel - up to 75% - is a requirement of the position.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline or relevant experience
- 5+ years demonstrated expertise implementing enterprise software packages or custom systems.
- 3-5 years of experience with Windows administration and applications and ability to successfully troubleshoot independently.
- Working knowledge of Client solutions: OneSign/ConfirmID, Client PAM, Client Ground Control
- Working knowledge of modern EMR systems such as: Epic, Cerner, McKesson, Meditech
- Working knowledge of Virtualization Technologies: Citrix, VMWare, Hyper-V, Nutanix
- Working knowledge of modern MDM solutions such as: VMware Workspace ONE UEM (AirWatch), Citrix Endpoint Management, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), Ivanti Endpoint Manager Mobile
- Working experience with database such as: MS-SQL, ORACLE, MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Working experience with SQL, stored procedures, SSIS
- Experience with client-server model software implementations that impact end users.
- Experience with support CRM systems. SalesForce experience a plus
- Experience with Identity Management Solutions, provisioning systems iDG, Web SSO
- UI level Scripting experience with one of the following: VBScript, JavaScript, AutoIT
- Experience with LAN/WAN network infrastructure including understanding of switches, routers, firewalls desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written skills, leadership skills, analytical skills, and project management experience (PMP certification is a plus).
- Experience with implementation of applications in: Healthcare environment, banking, and manufacturing
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experienced in training and consulting on the use of software systems. Such as: enterprise computing, security, PKI, directory services, authentication mechanisms, encryption, identity management and PC software and utilities
- Self-motivated and positive customer service attitude
- Ability to work in complex customer environments with delivery that is responsive to internal and external customer's expectations.
- Requires ability to accurately estimate, plan, and report work efforts.
- Must be able to analyze and solve technically related project issues.
- Must have the ability to do extensive domestic travel - up to 75%.
