Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Founding Full-Stack Engineer to join our early technical team and play a central role in developing AI-driven workflow automation solutions for the financial services sector. This position will collaborate directly with the founding team and contribute across all phases of the software development lifecycle, from architectural design through deployment.

The ideal candidate is a strong technologist with a deep interest in AI, user experience, and modern product development. This role offers significant ownership, autonomy, and the opportunity to influence both the technical direction and product strategy of a rapidly growing organization.

This position is in-person Monday through Friday. All meals are provided onsite. Relocation support is available for qualified candidates.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack features within a modern, AI-enabled product environment.

  • Work closely with the founding team to define product requirements, system architecture, and long-term technical strategy.

  • Build intuitive, high-performance user interfaces tailored to the needs of financial professionals.

  • Integrate advanced AI and large language model capabilities into product workflows, including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and model fine-tuning.

  • Deliver reliable, well-tested production code in a fast-paced, iterative environment.

  • Collaborate with end users and internal stakeholders to understand workflow pain points and drive continuous product improvement.

  • Take ownership of complex technical initiatives and contribute meaningfully to a strong engineering culture.


Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer or in a similar technical role.

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent industry experience).

  • Strong proficiency with Next.js, React, and TypeScript.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a dynamic startup environment.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality work.

  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on significant responsibility as part of a small, high-performing team.

Preferred (in order of relevance)

  • Experience with C#, .NET, desktop applications, or mobile application development.

  • Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, fine-tuning, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems.

  • Experience with Python or Office.js.

  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite, Excel Macros, or VBA.

  • Prior experience working at an early-stage startup or serving as a founder.

  • Notable open-source contributions or independent technical projects.
