We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Application Development Project Manager/Lead in Dorchester, Massachusetts. This role is in the telecom industry, where you'll be working on-site, leading the process of translating business needs into formal technical requirement deliverables. You will act as the primary point of contact between users and engineering/development staff, while also handling system operations analysis and evaluation.

Review, analyze, and evaluate information technology systems operations
Determine user needs and requirements and recommend ways to improve systems
Serve as the primary point of contact between users and engineering/development staff
Identify, document, report, and track system issues
Support the process of translating business needs into formal technical requirement deliverables
Demonstrate proficiency in deploying and maintaining software products in a cloud environment
Utilize DevOps experience to enhance system operations
Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish
Use leadership skills to guide and support the team
Ensure all documentation and budget processes are accurately managed.


Significant experience in application development project management or leadership role
Proficient in documentation processes and budget management
Familiarity with time management software such as 'About Time'
Demonstrated leadership skills and experience with hiring processes
Fluency in English and Spanish languages
Background in Engineering or Computer Sciences
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Knowledge of cloud technologies and DevOps methodologies
Experience in onsite management and deploying software products
Proficiency in using Appian Software and EO/IR systems
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
Familiarity with systems operations
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field is preferred
Strong understanding of the software development life cycle
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Willingness to stay updated with the latest technological trends and advancements.
