RCIS-Systems Analyst Senior
Remote (Hybrid - this position will involve some onsite work in Indianapolis, Indiana)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides evaluation, implementation, and support of Revenue Cycle information systems.
- Performs ongoing system support, administration, maintenance, upgrades, and be the vendor liaison for Revenue Cycle associated applications.
- Ensures that all Revenue Cycle applications are available and functioning properly and that customer requests are satisfied within service-level agreement (SLA) standards.
- Performs problem analysis, issue resolution, and on-call support. This position will work closely with Systems Analysts, end users, technical IS staff, and application vendors, and will beassigned to complex technical IS work and business problems.
- Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of IS principles and practices through the completion of assignments. Assignments are broad in nature requiring originality and ingenuity.
- Works with minimum supervision, conferring with supervisor on unusual matters. Works on small to large complex projects that require increased skill in multiple technical environments and knowledge of a specific business area.
- Mentors junior level analysts and demonstrates a high level of skill in the areas of system functionality, configuration, systems design, data structures, and documentation.
STRONGLY PREFERRED:
- 5-7 years of related experience.
- 3+ years Healthcare data experience.
- 3+ years visual reporting experience (Power BI preferred).
- Knowledge of SQL programming.
REQUIRED:
- Prefer Bachelor's or Associates degree in a technical field from an accredited university such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT.
- Requires good working knowledge skills with Microsoft Office Products.
- Requires working knowledge of Revenue Cycle operations or associated information systems.
- Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Requires exceptional interpersonal, problem solving, quality focus, and analytical skills.
- Requires the ability to take initiative and meet objectives.
- Requires the ability to promote teamwork and build effective relationships.
- Requires the ability to maintain confidential communication and use judgment and discretion.
- Requires general consulting skill, process improvement, customer relationship skills, reporting skills, and technical zeal.
- Requires the ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Requires self-motivation with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities in a high pressure environment.
- Requires a willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours.
