Job Overview:

Responsibilities:
- Manage infrastructure projects with budgets ranging from $100k to $1M.
- Oversee WAN/circuit connectivity, data center operations, building renovations, and network upgrades.
- Collaborate with vendors, negotiate SOWs, and manage vendor performance.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Track project progress and report to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Establish and maintain project governance plans, including working with sponsors, steering committees, and stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project risks effectively.
- Ensure compliance with waterfall/predictive methodologies.
- Utilize Microsoft Project for project planning and tracking.
- Occasionally travel to other office locations or out-of-town as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience managing major projects in large corporate or enterprise environments.
- Proven experience handling budgets of at least $3M and teams of at least 15 people.
- Strong accountability and ownership for project success.
- Proficiency in waterfall/predictive methodologies.
- Experience with vendor selection through RFPs and contract negotiations.
- Skilled in project risk management and governance planning.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project; experience with MS Project Online and SAP is a plus.
- PMP certification required; Six Sigma Blue or Black Belt preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalency required; preference for candidates with prior utility or regulated industry experience.
Top 3 Required Skills:
- Prior IT Infrastructure Project Management experience handling large capital projects.
- Experience with waterfall/predictive methodologies.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain project governance plans.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lead, collaborate, and work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
