Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Endpoint Specialist to join its on-site IT team in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing and distribution environment. This role will provide hands-on technical support for approximately 1200+ devices, including laptops, PCs, Zebra printers, scanners, tablets, and more. The specialist will serve as a critical bridge between IT and site teams, supporting automation initiatives and ensuring seamless plant operations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Endpoint Specialist to join its on-site IT team in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing and distribution environment. This role will provide hands-on technical support for approximately 1200+ devices, including laptops, PCs, Zebra printers, scanners, tablets, and more. The specialist will serve as a critical bridge between IT and site teams, supporting automation initiatives and ensuring seamless plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide technical support for Windows 11 devices, Zebra printers, label printers, copiers, scanners, network switches, UPS, tablets, and 3D printers.
- Perform device refreshes: imaging, deployment, and migration using SCCM/InTune.
- Support Apple iPads and Teams AV equipment.
- Maintain Active Directory environments and support OT/IT servers and jump boxes.
- Lead IT efforts for badge readers, camera systems, and site security systems.
- Manage approval processes and vendor POs.
- Respond to and manage major/severe incidents and escalations.
- Participate in site meetings and ensure timely ticket management in ServiceNow.
Proactive Maintenance
- Conduct predictive and preventive maintenance across all supported devices.
- Coordinate patching and corporate IT maintenance activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience in manufacturing or plant floor environments.
- Familiarity with automation systems and continuous improvement practices.
- Proficiency in Windows 10/11, macOS/Linux, SCCM/InTune, Active Directory, JAMF.
- Understanding of networking concepts is a plus.
