Full Stack to Front End Engineer - EdTech Social Impact Startup (you could be anywhere from 50-100% front end depending on your preference)

Location:  Remote

The company's product provides learning solutions for jobseekers, and a marketplace that connects them with jobs. The company is the leader in its space and is already being used by Google, Meta, and many other companies. It is uplifting people by giving them greater career opportunities, as well as making the tech industry more diverse and inclusive.

The company has 16 employees and 5 engineers, and is looking to double in size in the next year.

The company is seeking engineers who would be passionate about making a positive social impact.

Job Responsibilities:

- Working with the latest technologies such as JavaScript, React, Next.js, Typescript and Node.js.

- Writing high-quality, maintainable code with unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

- Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders in Operations, Product, Design, etc.

- Designing architecture for the company's products, including the backend and database.

Qualifications:

- Passionate about making a positive social impact.

- Strong in JavaScript.

- Strong in React.

- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well with people from diverse backgrounds.

- Able to own features from start to finish and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have:

- Skilled at mentoring junior engineers.

- Proficient in Node.js.

- Proficient in Next.js.

- Proficient in TypeScript.

- Startup experience.
