Front-End Web Developer

FRONT-END WEB DEVELOPER

We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer that is tech savvy, creative and data-driven. This role collaborates with all team members to ensure copy and design are in sync and align with overall client branding. You will be able to maintain project ownership while creating web applications and components from the planning stage to production deployment. As part of a growing company and team, the role requires strong leadership and forward thinking in order to deliver valuable solutions to our clients. We are looking for someone who is results-oriented, has a strong sense of responsibility, has exceptional communication skills, and successfully manage multiple tasks in a rapidly changing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicate with project teams and management regarding the status of all ongoing projects including project issues and accomplishments
• Develop new user-facing features using React.js
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Experience building visualizations and dashboards with d3.js or a similar library
• Collaborate with Technical team to ensure that User Experience and Visual Design align with required functionality

REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• ES6, Node & NPM, Git, Webpack
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to analyze and organize data with attention to detail
• Strong organizational, oral presentation, and written communication skills
• Knowledge of data visualization, UI, and UX design practices
• Familiarity with frameworks like AngularJS, Bootstrap, and jQuery
• Familiarity with visual design tools like Balsamiq, Illustrator, Sketch, etc. for mockups
• 1-3 years of experience successfully building interactive web applications and consulting services 
• Bachelor’s degree level in Computer Science or a relevant field of study
• Experience working in Life Science Industry, Qlik Sense, and Qlik Mashups are a plus
