Software Engineer - Healthcare

Our client is looking for a software engineer that has ability to design and develop custom software applications and update existing software products. This organization is a global insurance company that serves both individuals and companies, helping them manage and mitigate risks by providing coverage and financial protection. The right candidate will need to have the ability to commute to their office in Webster MA three times a week. Major duties include handing all system calls for one of their core vendor consumer agent business units that handles 3-4 million transactions daily. The client needs an engineer that has solid interpersonal skills and works well within a team. They're looking for experience in a variety of skillsets for application development and support such as Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, microservice's and Oracle/SQL. Developing new ideas and initiatives that improve the organization's performance is a must. There is also opportunity to get exposure into an organization migrating from on-prem to AWS. Required Skills & Experience

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with DevOps practices and tools
• Experience with analyzing developments and market trends related to the role of information technology (IT)
• Experience with architecture, configurations, integration and technical implementation options.
• Bachelors degree in Commuter Science, Information Technology
