Job Title :: Sr. SQL Server Developer

Role Responsibilities

• Software maintenance, enhancement, unit testing and bug fixing
• Client Support to ensure they can work with the software and produce their Regulatory reports
• Applies expert knowledge of MS-SQL-(SP, Functions, SSIS,SSRS), DBMS and middle-ware technologies in independently designing and developing key services
• Proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues and defects

Miniumum Requirements

Mandatory to have T-SQL (Stored procedures, writing complex queries), Macros (VBA) and SSIS

Excellent problem-solving skills with at least 5 years of experience of development in MS-SQL-(SP, Functions, SSIS,SSRS) and Microsoft platform scripting such as VBA, Command line batch etc

Excellent understanding of the platforms and programming skills, including MS-SQL-(SP, Functions, SSIS,SSRS), a good understanding of how things work underneath, in the runtime and the operating system

Proficient with the RDBMS framework

Be able to understand the functionalities and needs of the Users and translate it to technology.

Be interested and enthusiastic about technology and finance, have the desire to learn

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Advantageous Experience:

CCAR experience

14 M/Q/A reporting

Familiar with Finance industry and exposure to US Banking Regulatory process such as CCAR/DFAST/BASEL

Experience in developing performance-critical, low-latency, .NET applications and Tableau

Deep knowledge of multi-threading and parallel programming in general

Experience of building fault tolerant and highly available systems

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, ticketing system like JIRA
