We are seeking motivated and collaborative Scrum Masters to join our dynamic team in Identity and Access Management (IAM). The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Agile principles, prior scrum master experience in the IAM domain, and work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate the Agile process, foster continuous improvement, and drive successful team delivery.

Responsibilities

1. Facilitate SAFe & Scrum Events:

o Organize and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review/Demo, and Retrospective) to ensure they are productive and time efficient.

o Encourage participation and ensure the team adheres to Scrum practices.

o Facilitate PI Planning activities for the team, ensuring alignment with ART cadence and program objectives.

2. Support the Identity and Access Management (IAM) Team:

o Work with the assigned IAM team to remove impediments and obstacles that hinder progress and ensure objectives are achieved.

o Foster a collaborative environment where team members are empowered to make decisions and take ownership of deliverables.

3. Support the Solution Manager and Service Delivery Lead:

o Assist the Solution Manager and Service Delivery Lead(s) in maintaining a clear and prioritized product backlog.

o Support in defining user stories/epics and associated acceptance criteria to ensure the team has a shared understanding of the work.

o Apply customer-centric and design thinking frameworks as part of initiative planning.

4. Promote Agile Practices:

o Guide the team and organization in practicing Agile methodologies and adapting to change.

o Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the team's Agile maturity.

5. Continuous Improvement:

o Encourage a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

o Track and analyze team performance metrics to identify trends and areas for growth.

6. Stakeholder Communication:

o Act as a point of contact for communication with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on team progress and goals.

o Provide regular updates and reports on team activities, progress, and challenges.

7. Flexibility and Adaptability:

o Be open to additional responsibilities, including supporting other teams or projects.

o Adapt to changing priorities and organizational needs proactively and positively.

8. Support IAM Strategic Delivery:

o Coordinate across IAM workstreams including IGA, PAM, AD, ERP Security, and UAR.

o Manage dependencies and align delivery with strategic roadmaps and OKRs.

o Facilitate collaboration across vendors (SailPoint, IBM, EY) and internal teams (ServiceNow, Workday).

9. Advanced Impediment Management:

o Maintain and escalate impediment logs within defined SLAs.

o Oversee defect resolution and change management during hypercare phases.

10. Tool Proficiency & Reporting:

o Use Planview, Smartsheet, and JIRA for sprint planning, capacity tracking, and reporting.

o Provide visibility into risks, dependencies, and progress to stakeholders.

11. Program-Level Collaboration

o Collaborate with the Release Train Engineer (RTE) to support ART-level planning, execution, and improvement initiatives.

o Partner with Project Managers to ensure alignment across projects and initiatives impacting the team.

Minimum Requirements

4+ years' experience in a Scrum Master role or similar experience in an agile environment.

Critical Skills

Deep knowledge of agile principles and Scrum framework.

Strong facilitation skills to drive effective agile processes and team collaboration.

Proven ability to remove impediments and foster a productive team environment.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.

Experience in coaching and mentoring agile teams.

Proficiency in agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.

Familiarity with cybersecurity and IAM concepts (or strong learning agility to quickly become familiar).

Self-motivated with a proactive approach to driving team success.

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent (4+ years) experience.

Current Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar agile certification preferred.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $102,000 - $170,000
