job summary:
We are seeking a mid-level Data Analyst to provide application and data support for a newly developed internal system. This role is focused on maintaining data integrity, supporting operational reporting, and ensuring the smooth day?to?day functioning of the application. The ideal candidate has strong SQL skills, experience supporting production data environments, and a proven ability to investigate and resolve data issues efficiently.

responsibilities:
- Run, reconcile, and validate recurring and ad hoc application reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Perform data tie-outs and variance analysis across upstream and downstream systems to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Support the onboarding of new clients into the application, including data setup, validation checks, and initial reporting support.
- Investigate and resolve data validation errors, system exceptions, and data quality issues in a production environment.
- Partner with internal teams to coordinate and facilitate the timely delivery of reports and data outputs to the department.
- Participate in testing and validation activities for application enhancements, fixes, and new functionality.
- Identify opportunities to improve data controls, reporting reliability, and support processes.
qualifications:
Experience using Alteryx.
Background in financial services, asset management, fund administration, or related domains.
Experience supporting internally developed applications or enterprise data platforms.
Familiarity with data controls, validation frameworks, or audit support processes.
