Kforce has a client that is seeking an Active Directory Platform Engineer in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

An Active Directory Platform Engineer creates value for our organization by ensuring our Microsoft Active Directory and authentication platforms are secure, reliable, and highly available for our enterprise. This position will be responsible for working with our AD Architect and platform engineering team to support the design and implementation of Active Directory projects aimed at hardening our cyber security posture and providing robust and reliable authentication services. This position will also be responsible for delivering on projects related to our virtual server platforms in our corporate datacenters and at edge sites.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Solution Design/Architecture:
* Active Directory Platform Engineer will meet with stakeholders to understand problem or opportunity, gather and document requirements
* Develop high-level design documentation to be reviewed and approved by Company Senior Architect(s)
* Develop low-level detailed designs and build/configuration documentation
* Development of strategies to strengthen and modernize our Corporate Active Directory Environments to be reviewed and approved by Company Senior Architect(s)

Build/Implement Solutions:
* Build solutions for authentication and system infrastructure
* Validate operational readiness
* Complete all required documentation and turnover support to operations team through knowledge transfer
* As an Active Directory Platform Engineer, you will support the implementation of Azure authentication services projects
* Deliver on strategic projects aimed at modernizing and strengthening our VMware virtual server environment
* Utilize Scrum and Jira to track and report progress on projects

* Ability to create monitors and dashboards for our AD environment to show overall system health and availability
* Demonstrate high level knowledge on Microsoft AD, DNS, Azure AD, ADFS, PKI and SCOM solutions
* Demonstrate high level knowledge in VMWare solutions, including vSphere, vSAN, vCenter, and vRealize Suite amd VMware management background
* Must have working knowledge in using PowerShell and Powercli
* Must have working knowledge in using AD Specific command line tools like Repadmin and DCDiag
* Must have communication and collaboration skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
