Job Details
Our client has an IMMEDIATE need for a Genesys Implementation Specialist to work remotely. Candidate MUST come from an extensive background in Genesys CX Contact.
Responsibilities -
- Design, implement, and support the Genesys platform, including solutions like SIP Server, Genesys Routing, Inbound Voice, Genesys CX Contact, Genesys Infomart, Proactive Contact, and CallBack.
- Possess strong knowledge of SIP at the carrier level; knowledge of Oracle (Acme Packet) is preferred.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to gather business requirements and ensure the technical solutions meet those needs.
- Partner with the Business and Service Delivery teams to assist with new program solutions.
- Create engineering design documentation and runbooks for operational use.
- Support platform issues by working with development and integration teams as needed.
- Develop monitoring solutions to proactively manage the infrastructure and enhance its evolution.
- Conduct testing and create disaster recovery plans to detect faults, minimize malfunctions, and ensure system backups.
- Provide the highest level of technical consultancy to achieve prompt problem resolution.
- Manage vendors on escalated issues and projects within the scope of influence.
- Engage directly with clients on issues, problems, or design considerations.
- Mentor engineers and IT solutions technicians to ensure a smooth transition of platform support to the operations team.
- Cross-train team members in the relevant technologies.
- Design and lead the implementation of infrastructure architecture based on enterprise business requirements and IT strategies.
Qualifications
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or 6 8 years of progressive relevant experience.
- Expert knowledge of the Genesys platform.
- Proven expertise in creating Genesys inbound and outbound routing strategies from scratch.
- Proficiency in Genesys CX Contact platform.
- At least 2 years of experience with Composer.
- 6 8 years of experience delivering multiple, simultaneous projects.
- 6 8 years of experience in vendor management and performance monitoring to ensure compliance and budget adherence.
- Expertise with enterprise voice network infrastructures, including SBCs, gateways, SIP, circuit switching, and VoIP architecture.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in vendor management.
- Knowledge of Avaya and Cisco CUCM is a plus.
