Job#: 3022435 Job Description:Job Description: - Directs the planning, execution, and testing of new construction power plant commissioning within defined budgets, schedules, and environmental targets.
- Directly interacts with EPC Contractors, engineering firms, OEM equipment suppliers, off-taker Utilities, regional transmission system operators, Plant Operations, and staff organizations to develop a fully integrated commissioning plan and to manage issues as they arise.
- Through system turnover walkdowns and execution of verification and Validation checks, assures a quality product meeting the project's performance objectives is accepted from the construction contractor(s) in the required sequence, tested, and turned over to Operations.
Education:- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Power Generation, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Relevant Experience:- 6+ years of experience in power plant commissioning, working with EPC Contractors, engineering firms, and equipment suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead commissioning efforts for power plant construction projects.
- Develop and execute integrated commissioning plans.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety requirements.
- Provide technical oversight to contractors and commissioning teams.
- Coordinate resolution of operational issues during startup and testing.
